One of my oldest facebook followers (my cousin) asked me to post some light, snacky, dessert-y recipes and this was the first recipe that came to my mind.

Vegan Chocolate Clusters

This is almond-peanut-pistachio-chocolate clusters. It’s ridiculously easy to prepare – toast the nuts, mix them with chocolate, divide them into clusters, let them cool, and you’re done!

In fact, you don’t even have to melt the chocolate. The heat of the toasted nuts will automagically melt them.

This recipe is equally versatile. You can add other nuts like cashews and walnuts. Or you can completely avoid nuts and use dried fruits like raisins, plums, apricots. The possibilities are endless! 🙂

Once you’ve divided the clusters, just wait a couple of minutes (depending on how north you live)….or simply place them in a fridge.

Quick and easy vegan chocolate clusters recipe by Veganbell

Instructions

  1. Toast the nuts for 10 minutes at 150 C (or 300 F).

  2. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Add a pinch of salt. 

  3. Once the nuts are toasted, quickly add them to the bowl and mix. The heat of the nuts will start to melt the chocolate.

  4. Once everything is mixed and the chocolate completely covers the nuts, scoop a portion of the mixture and pour it on a parchment-lined sheet. Repeat the same for the remaining mixture. 

  5. Let it cool for 20 minutes (store them in a fridge). Your vegan chocolate clusters are ready.

  1. You can remove the skins of peanuts if you like.
  2. You can make larger (or smaller) clusters if you prefer.
  3. You can easily add other nuts like walnuts and cashews. If you're allergic to nuts, you can use dried fruits like raisins, apricots, and plums. Those taste heavenly!

  1. I’ve never heard of chocolate clusters before but boy does this look delicious. And wtf it’s insanely simple to prepare too. Def giving this a try.
