These 5-ingredients vegan energy bites are sweet, decadent and so nutritious.

Naturally sweetened by dates, these no-bake bites are equally easy to make (takes less than 10 minutes).

Walnuts and almonds are the ‘base’ of this recipe. Dates bind all the ingredients together whilst also making them sweet and healthy.

The cacao powder  + a touch of vanilla flavoring give the bites an AMAZING flavor.

Note: Raw Cacao Powder and Cocoa Powder aren’t the same thing. Raw cacao powder is prepared by cold-pressing unroasted cacao beans. Cocoa powder, however, is made by roasting cacao powder at high temperatures; which destroys vital minerals of cacao (source).

The procedure is incredibly simple. Just blend the nuts and almonds with chocolate until they’re coarse, then add dates + vanilla flavoring.

Blend some more, roll into small-medium balls and you’re done!

These bites are also really freezer friendly as you can store them for 10-15 days in an air-tight container.
