Vegan Hot Chocolate Recipe

Classic, family-favorite vegan hot chocolate recipe. Simple ingredients and comes together in under 5 minutes.

Instructions

  • Set a saucepan over medium heat. Add soy milk + cocoa powder + sugar + dark chocolate chips.
  • Using a whisker, whisk everything until smooth.
  • Once it's smooth, add salt + tapioca starch slurry. Mix again and bring it to a boil.
  • Keep boiling for 20-30 seconds. Vegan hot chocolate is ready.
  • Top it with vegan marshmallows and enjoy!

Notes

  1. You can also use cornstarch instead of tapioca starch.
  2. The nutritional chart does not contain macros from vegan marshmallows.
