Vegan Chocolate Bites

Since we last posted No-Bake Vegan Brownies, we have been getting a lot of requests for more desserts and this seemed to be the perfect recipe to publish – Vegan chocolate bites made with almond flour and date paste. It’s so easy to prepare and so delicious!

TIP: To prepare the date paste, simply blend 7-8 Medjool dates with a half cup of water in a high-speed blender (or a food processor) until smooth.

  1. In a large bowl, add date paste, maple syrup, vanilla essence, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
  2. Add 2 cups almond flour and mix well to form a batter. Set aside and chill for 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, add 1 cup of dark chocolate in a medium bowl and melt. Set aside.
  4. Scoop out 1 tablespoon of almond-date batter and roll it into a ball. Toss it into the bowl with melted chocolate and coat well. Transfer to a parchment-lined sheet. Repeat this for remaining batter.
  5. Freeze for 5-6 hours.
