Hello wonderful person! Today I’m bringing you one of my favorite chocolate dessert recipe, the vegan chocolate mug cake.

It’s sweet, soft, fluffy, and SO DELICIOUS! (and dare I say pretty brownie-sh)..

We’ll be making the cake in a microwave, and it will be done in 2 minutes. Thank you science! 

The ingredients themselves are pretty basic and you won’t need any special kitchen accessories (maybe a microwave safe mug/cup). 

Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake

Coming to the instruction, it’s easy as 1, 2, 3. First, mix all the dry ingredients in a mug. Then mix in the wet ones. 

Stir well *really well* until the ‘batter’ is nice and smooth. Transfer it to a microwave and heat for 2 minutes. Voila!

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, add all the dry ingredients - flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Mix well.

  2. Now add all the wet ingredients - vanilla essence, coconut oil, soy milk. Mix *really* well for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is silky smooth.

  3. Add dark chocolate chips and give it a quick stir. Sprinkle some more chips on top. Microwave for 2 minutes.

  1. This chocolate mug cake is my go to dessert recipe. Whenever I’m craving for something sweet or chocolatey, I make it.
    I add some crushed pretzels and top it off with chocolate syrup.its so damn good.

  2. I used brown sugar in place of sugar, I put a little more than. 1/4 cup of almond milk. You definitely don’t need 2 minutes in microwave. I did 1 min and 10 sec and it’s still Gooey!! Yummy. Ty for recipe.
