Our first ever recipe here on Veganbell….yay! Nabin helped me set up the entire website and clicked the pictures while I did the…cooking. 🙁

It’s extremely crunchy, light, and healthy vegan snack that can be made within 10 minutes.

Note: Overcooking the garlic till it’s dark brown yields a stronger garlicky flavor. I personally love it. Feel free to experiment. 🙂

Add 9 oz. (250 gm.) green beans and 1 cup water in a saucepan. Cover the lid and cook over high heat for 5 minutes or until the beans get crunchy. Set aside.

Heat a skillet (or any frying pan) over medium heat settings. Add 1 tablespoon sesame oil. Once hot, add the finely chopped garlic cloves and saute for 1 minute or until golden.

Add 1 tablespoon sesame seeds and 2 tablespoons peanuts. Saute for 1 minute or until the seeds start popping.

Add the steamed beans. Mix well. Next, add 1 teaspoon brown sugar and drizzle 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper and give it a gentle stir.
