Crispy Tofu Recipe

Crispy Stir-Fry Tofu

A quick, easy, and crispy tofu recipe with only 3 ingredients (plus salt and pepper). Serve with stir-fry noodles, or alongside hummus platter, or serve as is.

I used firm tofu in this recipe.

To make it crispy, I used some rice flour and lightly sauteed until all the sides were golden brown.

NOTE : I tried the same using corn flour, but with rice flour, the texture was so much better! 

Crispy Tofu Recipe

The process is really simple. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Toss well until the tofu is coated well. Then lightly saute in extra virgin olive oil until all the sides are golden brown.

  1. Cut tofu into bite-size cubes. Transfer it to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Add rice flour + salt + pepper to the bowl. Toss and coat.

  3. Set a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add oil.

  4. Once the oil is moderately hot, add the coated tofu and saute all sides until golden.
