Creamy Mushroom Pasta

I made my first pasta-with-mushrooms and I loved it. 🙂

The ingredients are really simple and the procedure is pretty straightforward.

Creamy Mushroom Pasta

I love how the mushrooms make the pasta so….crunchy.

It adds a whole new taste and texture to it.

Creamy Mushroom Pasta

I used common mushrooms to prep the pasta. You can use your fav mushrooms if you wish.

  1. Heat a pan over low-medium heat. Add olive oil.

  2. Once it's hot, add garlic and onion and stir+saute for 2 minutes or until the onions turn golden.

  3. Add mushrooms. Stir and cook for 4-5 minutes or until they are cooked and shrunk.

  4. Add coconut cream, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. (I used 1/2 cup of cream here, but if you want a creamer pasta, you can add 1 full cup)

  5. Finally, add the cooked pasta + sliced green onions. Stir well and cook for 2 minutes over low heat.

Recipe Notes

For a creamier pasta, just add 1/2 cup more cream and cook for 1-2 additional minutes over low heat.
